I have a BS in accounting from Boston University. In my early career I worked primarily as a financial analyst for large corporations, working closely with general accounting and monitoring corporate budgets. In 1991 I started a family and began working with small businesses in order to gain more flexibility and balance in my professional and personal life. I have found that while small businesses do not have room in their budgets to hire a full-time accountant, they can benefit greatly by using my services for a small number of hours, either one-time or ongoing. It is extremely satisfying to me to know that I have saved a business owner money and given them a better handle on their financial picture. My service always pays for itself, and in every case I have decreased the amount of time needed by a business to maintain its financial records.
I now work with a small staff of professionals, all with accounting backgrounds and QuickBooks experience. Our low 2-hour minimum makes it possible for you to pay only for the amount of bookkeeping you need.
Some areas in which I have helped businesses are:
• residential construction
• a church
• investment management systems
• public relations
• promotional products
• public TV editorial
• engineering consulting
• a coffeehouse
• a non-profit community organization
• graphic design
• documentary film production

When I’m not doing bookkeeping, I manage the North Street Coffeehouse in Medfield, MA. We host open mic evenings with talented local feature performers several times a year. Check the North Street website (just click on the logo to the left) for our schedule and come by for a listen sometime. Or email me to sign up for our open mic yourself!
